The Dallas Cowboys have reportedly parted ways with one of their quarterbacks.
According to ESPN NFL insider Jeremy Fowler, the NFC East franchise has released young quarterback Ben DiNucci.
The former James Madison University quarterback played in three games for the Cowboys last season. He started a Sunday Night Football game against the Philadelphia Eagles, throwing for 180 yards on 21 of 40 passes in a 23-9 loss.
The Cowboys had a competition for the backup quarterback job this preseason. Cooper Rush is believed to be the favorite for that position.
